I've not been very fast at loading images from years and years of trips. Mostly, I've put off showing images because I didn't really understand how to edit to get the kinds of final products I visualized. After months of studying lightroom and photoshop I'm finally starting to gain confidence in my ability to produce images that match the vision.
Here's one from last year's trip to California for a photo workshop. One of the shoots had us out on the dunes near San Luis Obispo working with horses and riders. Although I got in trouble for "being in the shot" right after taking this picture the end result was worth the scolding.
Willie Martini was lined up just so perfectly as this pair crested the dune. I was pumped to pick this spot to watch the action unfold.
