This beautiful lady was worshipping around the Tashilhunpo Monastery. All she said was "Dali Lama", but she graciously posed for her photo. The lines on her face cross the communication divide. Her photo conveys a certain sense of peace both at that time and today.
The object she is holding is a prayer wheel. They are a common sight around the Buddhist temples of Tibet. If you look closely the clouds behind the wheel make it look as though there is smoke coming from the wheel.
