This ornate skull was part of a roadside stop as our tour bus traveled from Lhasa to Mt. Everest base camp. The sky was so blue because we were somewhere above 12,000 feet in elevation. The significant thing about this stop on our journey was that it was the first time you could "see" Mt. Everest. If you look closely in the background, those are the Himalayas.
